A review on Amazon

I have always found the Indian culture fascinating. India is a places I would like to see at some point in my life.
That being said I enjoyed all the facts that came along with the story. It took me forever to read because I would stop and do research. I can honestly say I've never seen a book written this way. It reminded me a bit of a travel guide. It took some getting used to but I found I really liked it. I also liked that we were given the Indian names of things then the English translation.
I found the glimpse into the Indian culture riveting. The constant talk of food, I felt like I was watching Willie Wonka. I had to go try Indian food. I will say that the mildest food is still a bit too spicy for this white girl...
