An extended excerpt from my (now out of print) first graphic novel, Freddie & Me (2008), serializing daily at this site.
I’m going to be posting about four pages a day over the next couple of weeks, telling just the part of the story set in 1991-1992, and my memories of being a teenager looking to carve out an identity for myself through my fixation on the band Queen, and my hero worship of their flamboyant lead-singer, Freddie Mercury.
