Why I should have chosen to write....

This is my first blog...EVER!!!

So, apologies if it is rubbish!!!

Okay...this morning after I dropped the kids off at school I decided to look at other peoples blogs to get an idea of what I should write. Being an unknown author, I am pleased to say I have had good reviews and sales have been steady but I need to get myself out there! Introduce myself to the world...

Unfortunately, words failed me. So...I had a decision to make!

Paint the living room or writing another chapter of my next book? After following Ellie and Kyle' s story, book two of the Broken series focuses on Ellie's best friend and fellow Brit, Cassie, and introduces you to some new characters. I am making good progress so surely my decision to was to write...!

No - I chose to paint the living room. With Guns n' Roses blaring in the background I got stuck in, moaning that the consistency of the paint was wrong and it wasn't covering well. Hours pass and then hubby comes home from work. He looks impressed...then he starts searching for patches I have missed. We sit down and have a cuppa and then he asks...Emma, why are you painting the wall with outside masonry paint?

Yes, my living room is now protected against the elements for 10 years!!!

I really should have chosen to write...

So...this is me! Hello book lovers! I hope to get to know you soon but I what I really hope for is that you add, read and enjoy my first book.

Over and out xx
