A New Way to Win!

I know, this is shocking news, especially considering that I’m still running the 2nd Midsummer Madness Giveaway. However, I just couldn’t make myself wait any longer.

I’ve been thinking about some way to reward loyal fans and followers, and I believe I’ve come up with a good one.

Starting tomorrow, July 16, I will be giving prizes to the first person to message me following a particular post on Facebook and a particular tweet on Twitter. The post or Tweet will include the words, “Message me now for a chance to win.” I’ll respond to the winners’ message with a request for an email (which will be used only for purposes of sending the prize). I’m assuming there will be two winners each day, though hypothetically the same person could be the first person to send a message on both FB and Twitter.

Usual contest rules apply where relevant. In particular, people under 18 need parental permission to participate, this opportunity is void where prohibited, and no purchase is necessary to participate, nor will making a purchase improve the odds of winning. I will also note that this is not an attempt to incentivize following me on Facebook or Twitter. (You won’t know about this opportunity unless you already follow me in one of those places; I’m not advertising this chance to win anywhere except this page, and the posts and tweets in question.)

Prizes will normally be $5 Amazon e-gift cards, though on any given day I may, at my sole discretion, offer more than that.

Winners’ names will be announced either by first name, last initial (as they are in rafflecopter giveaways), by FB user name, or by Twitter handle, whichever each winner prefers.

This opportunity will continue for one month (through August 17), though I may, at my sole discretion, announce an extension.
