Happily Ever Single

Happily Ever Single is now available on all platforms. This is my first dip into contemporary romance and it felt very different to me. I didn’t plan on writing this story at all. In fact I was in the middle of my next sci-fi series when I decided to take a break and then Lucy just took over. I loved her voice immediately and I found her interesting and funny. These days in romance it feels to me like the normal happy ending is marriage and kids. What happens if a woman doesn’t want those things, though? What is her happy ending? Is she supposed to change herself to conform and if she doesn’t, can people really see that as a happy ending? This was a huge challenge for me and no matter what happens I am glad this story has been written. It is a love story so it has plenty of romance and love so it isn’t completely anti-love or any of those things everyone enjoys to read. Ollie is so sweet and to me he was such a great fit for Lucy (even if he does come with a mother from hell!). It hopefully just takes a slightly different approach to get to that HEA. I hope you love Lucy and Ollie as much as I loved writing their story. This is a complete standalone.
