Red geraniums are the perfect summer flower.
Despite daily watering, my zucchini plants lie in my garden, prostrate in the heat.
My tomato plants are in a snit — refusing to produce anything larger, or softer, than a marble.
But my geraniums are gracious. They’re all like “It’s hot. We got this. Water us when you’re ready.”
I love that in a flower.
