When I was a kid, the appeal of the DC and Marvel universes wasn’t just the characters, it was the setting, it was the fact that the players co-existed. Crossovers used to be natural, they just happened because it fit the story. Now they are corporate driven.

I always wanted that feeling that the characters had proximity.
