WHOA. I sent a mildly-worded complaint about a pizza whose toppings had all slid off to one side (seriously, I got a pizza that was none on one side and all on the other) - and now they’re going to send me a new one! Tomorrow! Said disastrous pizza came two days ago and today I got a response to my “hey, just so you know, that wasn’t really great and maybe your delivery dudes should possibly consider keeping pizzas level during the delivery process” email, with an offer to send me a new pizza ANY TIME I WANTED IT. I was like - ???? For real??? So I emailed back and was like, “um, sure? Maybe tomorrow???” And they wrote back and were like “a girl will name a time and a pizza place will do the rest”, so I considered my evening plans tomorrow and said, “uhhh maybe 9pm then?” And apparently that’s on. I’m getting free pizza, is the tl;dr version! Whoooo!
