Update
I know, I know, I haven't been around much. Mostly I've been working on GIFT OF POWER, now into 21 chapters (I hope my editor gives me places I can cut!). I'm also reeling a bit from two weeks of interrupted sleep. Our cat Scooter had a hematoma in his ear which had to be patched (with staples!), which means he's been in one of those ghastly plastic collars for two weeks. Hope Scooter is doing OK. I'm re-reading for the...uh, I can't remember how many times..the entire Tortall series. I do this when I need a jolt of woman-power. (I've been looking for a job in my field for over 6 1/2 years & when I have those doubts, I reach for your books.)
I don't know why it's taken me so long to get to your books, but I am really enjoying being submerged in Tortall for the summer. I'm a teacher so I get to read a lot more in the summer, and it's great to have books to read that I look forward to reading. I can't wait to get back to them whenever I eke out reading time.
