Is there some unspoken industry rule to not shit on other creators? There are a number of horrid artists working throughout the industry, but everyone seems to work their hardest to defend them. I get that art is subjective, but when you have "artists" tra

There’s always people who think it’s not professional to speak on other artists work. Personally,I try to not be toooo publicly mean these days about anyone’s personal work. (but that doesn’t mean not being critical) I used to do a lot more shit talking, but ideally I’d rather just focus on work that I like.

I don’t really care if Greg Land wants to trace porn for his Marvel work.(who I assume you meant) Working in the industry I would much rather see a mediocre artist succeed who was at least trying hard and good to the people around him– as opposed to someone who can make pretty lines on paper but is a dick to their collaborators or readers.

I like the idea of there being enough impressive work on comic shelves that you can just skip over work you don’t like.

Anyway. let’s here’s some work I like—

Sam Bosma has a book out called Fantasy Sports that I think is great,

And here’s a panel from Frederik Peeters aama– Reallly nice sci fi
