The Written Word
As a writer I get to share my work with readers. I am an avid reader myself and have been all of my life since the time that I learned to read as a small child. I was born in England and my appetite for adventure was fed through reading Enid Blyton books about The Famous Five.
Through the written word I was transported into other worlds full of potential and sometimes dangerous but always magical.
Now I read inspirational books that help me along the path to enlightenment written by people who have gone before me and transcended the things that I grapple with. In turn I write books about my own experiences that hopefully also can be helpful for those treading the path of life. I can stretch back my hand to encourage others to keep walking when they may feel a bit lost or uncertain just as those that held out their hands to me in service to our greater good have done. The chain of hands reaching out to us all is ongoing and a blessing allowing us to know we are not alone.
