Out of Time Update

I’ve seen the posts(on Facebook), I’ve felt the anxiety and I’m right there with you. I promised an update and total honestly and you’ll get it!

I will start out with (1) the good news , (2) then the bad news, (3) then some more bad news, (4) then some good news. Who is ready?.

(1) The good news. My wonderful editor finished with Out of Time and I now have it in my hot little hands. I have to tell you, when she sent me the blurb for the back cover I did a double-take. This book sounds really fantastic and I had to wonder if it was really mine. Seriously, I’m laughing as I type this because she did such an amazing job. I hope the book lives up to the blurb!

(2) The bad news. I have some work to do on it. I will dedicate my weekend to taking care of her recommended changes and will be sending it to proofreaders (who have promised to jump on it) as soon as I possibly can.

(3) Some more bad news. I may not be able to have a June release, but as God is my witness, I will try. After the proofreaders are finished it will need to go to my formatter who will need a couple of days because of its size. This will be cutting it close to the end of June but I’m still not comfortable giving an exact release date because I honestly don’t know.

I know there has been some good natured teasing and I’m perfectly good with that. Keep it coming. It’s actually quite complimentary to have people that want to read this book (I remember not being able to find people to read Nine Minutes).

But, I’ve also been the recipient of some criticism suggesting I’m stringing people along. I want to assure you that this is not the case. I’m self-publishing and learning as I go. I didn’t get it all right with Nine Minutes and I’m trying to be more careful and cautious and not make the same mistakes. I ask for your continued patience. .

(4) Some good news. I just selected a narrator for the audio version of Nine Minutes. Yes, Nine Minutes will be available on audio (CD, iTunes and something else I can’t remember – LOL!). I think they said it will take a couple of months. Oh no, I hope you don’t ask me for a date!

Well, I hope this post didn’t hurt your eyeballs and I hope you will stick with me on this. Thank you for the love, the support and the patience.

Love each and every single one of you!

Copper78 Beth,
As a reader and fan of your work I really appreciate that you take the time to update your readers on the status of your anxiously awaited book. I have so much respect for writers that respect their readers, so thank you!!!

Amanda I cannot wait for this one! Take the time you need! I'd rather read a well edited, well written and developed book a little later than expected, than a rushed book with errors that was put out on time!!
