These are two pages from The Leopard, the Transphobic Revenge Giallo that I’m making.  These pages were interesting to do because I realized I had never drawn like heteronormative cisgender sex before.  And so it was difficult to kind of conceptualize in an interesting way that wasn’t just like reproducing images I had already seen.

So I had this Octopus that the dude Carlos has killed that comes around later in the scene, and I decided to bring that forward and use it and I think largely just use the Octopus to kind of disassociate my ambivalence about this kind of sex into.  Of course in the process, I think the scene actually becomes not hetero-normative.

And on the plus side I get to enter into the tentacle porn club.  The bottom panel on the first page is a quote of a Hajimi Sawatari photo that is one of my favorite photos from a serious of these really great octopus/women photos he did in the I think 70s.

This is probably too much information, but I thought the discussion of drawing this kind of scene was interesting to share.
