I have a good excuse for my absence from the blog for the past few weeks. I've been grappling with technology and doing lots of switching off and switching on again. It seems that if I use the scanner, the printer goes into a huff and won't talk to the computer. Who says machines don't have feelings?

No wonder there are so many science fiction stories about machines becoming independent of people and taking over the planet. I don't think they'll make war on us, but that doesn't mean we don't have to worry because all the evidence points to them making war on each other. Honestly, if the printer can be jealous of the scanner, giving machines intelligence could bring life as we know it to a halt! It won't help my next attempt to give my website a makeover either. As it is, I've finally persuaded the printer and scanner that I need them both equally, and I have a nice fresh-looking, easy to use site online.
