If I didn't tell you, I shouldn't have

I have a propensity to tearing one sheet off of the paper towel roll with every meal.
I use that paper towel one quarter of the time and with a beard let it be known; I am a clean eater.
Overtime however I continue to always and forever grab that paper towel.
If it goes unused I fold it, and it sits wedged between the salt and pepper.
They collect with all of my doubt in my very own ability to eat without messing my beard and myself.
They collect and I wonder consistently if I know myself at all.
