It’s been released!

I’m a horrible blog owner and neglected to make the announcement yesterday, when Ruined by Nature was first available for download. Self-promotion is sort of beyond me.

So with that in mind …

Please check out my book. It’s on Kindle and Nook and iBooks and Kobo and pretty much any ebook retailer you can find. I will thank you until I draw my final breath in an entirely not-creepy, normal way. PROMISE.

Whew! That was an experience.

Also, read my interview page on Smashwords if you’re curious about my writing process, general state of mind (sometimes it’s iffy), and upcoming projects. :D

I'll likely read it AGAIN before Book 2 comes out because you know me and my memory... :P

(Of course all the Julian parts are cast in stone in my cranial matter. ^__^)

Squee brought to you by the Booze Council. >:D

Aw, I loved the interview, which reminded me of the first thing *I* ever wrote, which was a book in kindergarten about a snake. A SNAKE WHO CURLED AROUND A ROCK. I think I got 3rd prize. My sis won #2 for a book about teddy bears, and the top prize went to the kid who was an artistic wonder, but his penmanship was shit, so the teacher wrote the text and he drew the pictures. I did, and still, think that the prize was undeserved because JFC, HE HAD HELP. Stacking the deck IMO.

My memory is very selective. Some shit I never disremember. >:D

Rachel Pierson That's a very specific memory, too. All I can remember from kindergarten is taking in a picture of my kitten after it got a flea bath in the sink. My teacher was like, "So how does kitty get clean?" I answered, "In the bath." And everyone laughed at me because no, RACHEL, cats don't take baths all the time. Which I damn well knew. The wording of her question was confusing for a 6-year-old. -___-

Childhood is full of little traumas, isn't it? :P

An endless series of unforgettable little traumas. :P

I also remember getting called onto the carpet for not playing nice with a girl during a game of Red Light/Green Light. Since then, I feel like I must have been a Nazi about RULES to have the memory stick so fast. :P Because I'm 100 percent positive she wasn't doing it right.

Rachel Pierson How exactly does one not follow the rules of Red Light/Green Light?

Seems like a no-brainer, right?
