More FREE BOOKS Galore for Summer Reading

(Update June 29: All the books are now gone.)

Let us pause for a moment and look back in time to the blog of June 10, 2015 in which I posted a list of free barely broken books. Or the follow-up posting of June 18 in which I lamented the lack of movement...

Only one of the aforementioned items has been sent to a good home. Two have been torn into little bitty shreds because I decided they were too far gone and needed to be put out of their misery. Five of them have been allocated and partially packed for overland shipment by pack rat to the Baltimore Home for Retrievably Maimed Tomes.

The rest of them are still sitting here gathering mold. I despair of finding homes for them before their pulping time arrives. Alas.

Here again is the spectacular list of SROP titles currently available in the collection of mildly marred books:

An Uncommon Surfeit of Lipstick by Richard McGowan Diane at Fifteen by Richard McGowan Apple Blossom Dreams by Richard McGowan On the Klickitat by Richard McGowan The Girl Who Grew Crutches From Seeds in a Garden of Exotic Delights by Sanguinity Hematode Two Kyogen Plays by Richard McGowan A Modest Collection of Slightly Shocking Fairy Tales by Richard McGowan My Afternoon of Squeezing Persephone's Pomegranates by Mantissa Etherbright

If you want one, send a private message shout-out or e-mail the Rodent at SROP. In addition to typically being one of a kind items, each of these little puppies will be autographed before shipment and penned-up to contain what you might call "author's corrections" in red ink, so someday they might conceivably be "collectible". But if they're not gone in a month, they'll probably be recycled.

And... If you made it this far, but you don't need a physical book, or you don't see what you really want on the list, just holler toward the Rodent. All SROP titles are available to those who want them.

R.F.G. Cameron We likes mildly marred books, precious

We sees a nekkid tiny demon running through the house so time to go

P.J. O'Brien (Mixed mutterings to self): "Must find my irretrievably maimed map to the Baltimore Home for Retrievably Maimed Tomes before the packrat arrives. And why does the good wine and ice cream disappear whenever I go off on a long work trip?"

message 3: by Richard (new)

Richard @PJ: Note: pack rats are notoriously slooooow at carrying mail... But eventually they do arrive. :-)
Hope you recover the wine and ice cream... or what's left of them...
