A quick check-in...

I took a quick break from writing and edits to give you an update on what’s coming up in the Argeneau series as well as in my historicals.

Some of you may already know that the 3rd book in my latest Scottish Highlanders series will be coming out July 28th. This book is about Lady Saidh, a brazen, scrappy, sword wielding Scottish spitfire whose skill in cursing could put any sailor to shame… You love her already don’t you?

The 4th book in this same series is about Murine Carmichael, one of the many ladies who came to Sinclair castle as a potential wife for Cam and who fainted at his feet upon meeting him and his new wife Jo. Although Murine has lost everything dear to her in the last few years, she never once stopped to feel sorry for herself. She’s quirky, resilient and incredibly determined, which is shocking considering her tendency to swoon at the drop of a hat. Oh, and I almost forgot…She has a faithful pet bull named Henry, who follows her around like a dog.

As for the Argeneaus, Bricker’s book, About A Vampire, will be coming out September 29th. Many have already asked so I’ll save you having to type the question… Bricker does indeed get his comeuppance for all the torment he inflicted on his fellow enforcers when they met their life mates. Poor Bricker.

And I’m currently editing Dante and Mary’s story. As a little sneak peak I will tell you this much… Dante is buck naked for the first half of his story. I’m not sure how Mary was able to keep her thoughts straight with that distraction constantly in her face. Talk about willpower! LOL

Sigh. And now I must get back to the grind and before you ask me what I’m working on now I’ll just say this… It’s too early in the story to say so my lips are sealed. ;-)

Will be back soon!

Sue Davis HELLO LYNSAY,
I HAVE ALL YOUR ARGENEAU SERIES AND A COUPLE HISTORICAL BOOKS.PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING. THOUGH SINCE I HAVE BEEN DOING ARC AND BETA READING, I NOW HAVE TO READ THEM IN BETWEEN THE ONES I HAVE AGREED TO DO. BUT WHEN I KNOW YOU HAVE ONE COMING OUT I DO TRY TO LEAVE TIME TO GET TO READ IT. UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY TO DO ONE IN A HURRY FOR AN AUTHOR I HAVE HAVE DONE WORK FOR BEFORE OR A FRIEND OF ONE WHO ASK ME TO HURRY. BUT I ALWAYS DO GET TO YOURS ASAP. I LOVE THE ARGENEAU SERIES AND YES, I AGREE BRICKER DOES DESERVE SOMETHING FOR ALL HIS RIBBING OF THE OTHERS. CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO READ IT. SUE DAVIS

K Denease I can't wait to read about Bricker. I know his character has been so jealous of the other enforcers for so long that he has hidden his envy behind teasing. Now it is your turn, Justin Bricker.

Mamamathe5 I really enjoy the Argeneau series. What I love most about them is that they all happen not far from where I live in London, Ontario. The best part was when I read a paragraph from Armand's book to my mother-in-law. It was about shopping at the Bay in White Oaks Mall here in London. It was the best since my mother-in-law works there!

Janice I loved my July visits to London, Ontario, though my last visit to beautiful Ontario was in July of 2000...I Should...have gone back in July of 2001. Also I really miss St Mary's, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Ottawa. Even though I'm a born native of Charlotte, N.C., I've been told by my some of my Templeton family, here in the States, I have distinct Templeton cousins in and around Toronto --some of which they've met. No wonder I've always felt so much at home in Canada, and...miss Ottawa so much. Janice

Janice And...I bet... Port Henry is really Kingston, On, and I've been there too.
