Back in the Bayou
I have the best parents in the world and I don't say this enough. And I mean this before this blog post.
What made them even more incredible was that they not only brought me to Florida with them (I got back yesterday), but they also endured a 1500 mile drive from Davenport, FL, to Baton Rouge, LA - that's two full days of driving right there!!
While in BTR I managed to spend some (sadly) brief time with a very dear friend of mine and her family. Yes, I survived staying in a house with THREE children - although there were tears (and they were mine, not the children's - CHILDREN ARE TERRIFYING!). I also got to revisit LSU and say "hi" to Mike.
Then there was time for a whistle-stop tour of NOLA.
