A Glimpse Behind the Curtain

So, I have this Facebook Fan Page, and I'm active on it every day, answering folks questions and interacting with everyone. Despite that, at least a dozen times a day, acquaintances and complete strangers send friend requests for my private Facebook page, despite the GIANT FUCKING DISCLAIMER that says "Private Page For Family And Close Friends. All Others Please Use Fan Page". I don't understand why this is. I guess folks think the private page is where all the good stuff happens. Well, not really.
