Did you know you have a Father in Heaven?

Did you know that you have a Father who cares about you?  ©drowe“And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.”  Mathew 10:30Why would a God who created the entire universe, takes the time to count all the hairs on your head, even if they fall to the ground or change color? That’s amazing, not to mention time consuming. Do you know how many months it would take to count all the hairs on your head? Parents who love their children do not take the time to count every hair on their heads. I doubt they could no matter how hard they try.Look with me at hair counting.Hair counting involves closeness. The counter of the hair has to come very close to the hair that will be counted. He must touch each strand with His hand as He counts. This requires gentleness. Hair counting requires patience. When one or more hair falls to the ground, the One who is counting must stop and take note of that fallen hair because it is part of the person. Hair is very personal. It is part of who you are. One by one He counts with a joyful heart.Hair counting involves a very special relationship Think back to a time when someone combed or brushed your hair gently. It was soothing to say the least, right? Think of some of the emotions that you felt at that time. Perhaps you felt that person cared about you or you might have felt loved. In that moment you did not feel angry or stressed, you were relaxed, even if there were no verbal conversation. It’s meant to be a very pleasant experience and it warms the heart to know that someone is giving you their time.Hair counting is an act of love. God created you inside and out. He made you a one of a kind person there is no one else like you. He knows everything that is happening inside of you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, yet something so minute like the number of hairs on your head was not overlooked in the process of caring about something as important as your brain or your heart.
