Still waiting for the train that never came…

So many possibilities with this picture. My mind wanders. How did humanity fall? War, famine, disease? A combination? In the end, I always conclude it will be us that ends things.

Nikki "The Crazie Betty" V. I agree. Apocalyptic scenarios are interesting to hypothesize about but I always come back to us being our own destruction.

Either that or something like The Happening, when Mother Nature gets fed up with us and "helps" us out with our population problem.

Kathy Ann'tie I saw this picture too and it does get one thinking. I agree that an apocalyptic story comes to mind. I also thought some kind of war, war against an alien invasion! I loved this picture.
