    Matthew 18:19-20   Christianity was never meant to be a religion of isolated piety.  Hermits and anchorites are foreign to the New Testament.   Christians are intended to be in fellowship with one another, to worship as congregations, “to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light” (Mosiah 18:8).
