Price drop! Get Her Alien Hero for 99¢ at Amazon and All Romance June 1-22! #1NightStand #99cents #kindle #scifiromHello all! I saw an author I admire post reader letters on her blog, and thought I’d try the same thing. The reader letter usually gives the reader a bit of background information on the story, and may also give a little bit of insider information.

Her Alien Hero is a 1Night Stand story that released in April, shortly before I attended my first reader/writer conference. It is on sale for 99¢ through to June 22. Check the sidebar on the right for links to the sale.

Dear reader,

Thank you so much for joining me for another 1Night Stand adventure! This story was inspired by many things, including my first reader conference that I will be attending in Ottawa in April. Kate Richards and Valerie Mann put the idea of one of the conference attendees going on a 1Night Stand, and I ran with it, creating Her Alien Hero.

Of course, like all my 1Night Stand stories, this one is connected to one of my previously published titles. It’s a little more subtle this time, but the hints are there. I hope you are able to figure out which one(s).

Inspiration for the hero, Cooper, came from a certain arrow slinging superhero in the Marvel universe, though he would more likely be wearing jeans and a t-shirt in my story than tight leather. And inspiration for the heroine, Melinda, came from Pinterest. You can see my Pinterest board for the story here: http://www.pinterest.com/jessicasubject/her-alien-hero/

If this is your first or your fiftieth sci-fi romance story, I hope you enjoy Her Alien Hero. My stories may have aliens, clones, or even androids in them, but the romance is always first. Because I believe that no matter where you live in the universe, you deserve a happily ever after, too.

If you ever have any questions about any of my stories, feel free to email me at jessicasubject.writer@gmail.com or message me on twitter @jsubject.

Happy reading!

Jessica
