That's right, the small pub and the publisher of my first three books, is closing it's doors on the Dec. 27. One of the editors has formed her own company, Melange Press, and is taking the entire Midnight Showcase crew with her. That includes asking the authors to come along. I have declined this invitation. I felt getting the rights back and doing extensive revisions then re-submitting to another house was in my best interest. So for all those people who have marked these books to read, they will only be available till the 27th. They are also at a lower price, $3.99.
I'm sad to see Midnight Showcase close, but change happens and we have to go with it. I wish Melange Press all the best with it's opening.
