This is one of those sequences that really only makes sense if you’ve read the previous chapter. The man with the can in the bottom panel is Nikopol and the god he’s dreaming about in the previous two panels is Horus, who has possessed an astronaut and is about to kill the whole crew around him. Probably the best part of this are the minute changes between the two panels - most subtly the shading that indicates that this is a different view of the same scene.
