There are few, if any, words that get as strong a reaction from me as the word "cunt". To me, it's the worst kind of insult. I still remember the fraternity guys in college telling us not to call them "frat" boys because you don't call your country "cunt." I found it so vile, it stuck in my mind, and I certainly I remembered not to say "

Personally, I don't like it. Although DH Lawrence made an herculean effort to turn it into 'more suitable' on his novels.

LOL-- I think some authors really use it successfully and don't make me cringe, but I still have a hard time with it.
