Darkness

Darkness falls within my mind

A maze of shadows is all I find

Deep down there is a wish to fight

To rise up and search for the light

Left with a most daunting task

Where happiness seems so far passed

To struggle through the twists and turns

There is so much that I still must learn

For now I am resigned to the dark

Until there comes the necessary spark
