The main heroine of the story, Natalie, is a young breast cancer survivor. I lost my grandmother to breast cancer over 20 years ago, and my aunt is a survivor now battling cancer that's spread to her liver and lung, with a prognosis of less than a year to live.
I've dedicated this book to all the fighters, survivors and breast cancer angels, and have donated a portion of the royalties from the pre-orders to Susan G. Komen Charlotte, and will continue to do so with all the sales of this title.
