Discombobulated!

First, that is the snake of stress...just to let you know!!! :) I'd been doing really well, keeping up with everything, but this week I'm totally discombobulated. Last night, I came home after work and was waiting for the plumber to come and put in the sink, and he had to leave to get parts (which took an hour and a half and made it even later at night---but I have to say the guys are wonderful about doing this for me after work like this) but I so wanted to crash.

Do you ever feel that way? That you can barely stay awake? See, if I were a wolf, I'd sleep. *sigh* But I had to get the sink put in no matter what. And that's the problem with the last few nights. I had to stay up to work two of the nights. And one of the nights we went to the premier showing of True Grit, and two of the nights I stayed up until nearly midnight helping my daughter study for the GRE. And the real trouble is I CAN'T sleep in. I'm not able to anyway, but I had workman coming early too.

*bigger sigh*

Talk about burning the candle at both ends. Now, if I could rest in, since I can't sleep in...ever, Saturday, it would help. But nope, I have to go to work in the morning, have to do a book signing, get groceries, and then for the first time this week, I can really crash. And hopefully not in a bad way!!!

So, what I'm trying to say is that's the reason I'm so discombobulated this week. I was late on reporting the SciFi Guy's posting, and Castles and Guns, and well, all I've got to say is that I'm hoping by next week I'll be more on track. I'm hoping. :)

Oh, and I'm cold...I'm sure if I had a wolf to snuggle up to, I wouldn't be though! :) I'm rethinking the fact that I have no workable heat pump in half the house and don't have to replace it until next summer.... argh...
