I have some very positive updates for Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I would like to thank all of the readers on Goodreads for supporting me. As the contest comes to a close, I currently have 855 entries and we still have five hours left in the contest. We also have over 389 readers who have added Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to their bookshelves. Once again, thank you so much for your support. Something happened today that meant the world to me. A grandma I know bought my book for her grandson two days ago. She didn’t have cash with her at the time, so she told me she would pay me the next day. The next day, she brought me two one dollar bills and four dollars in change inside of a plastic bag. When she handed me the money, she told me that her grandson loved the book so much that he wanted to pay for it himself and took the money out of his piggy bank. She told me that he wouldn’t put the book down and almost read the entire book in one day. He told his grandma that he wanted to take the book with him on the family vacation. The grandmother told me that she now wants to buy Fritz Fombie Have No Fear for all of the local schools. After hearing stories like these, I will always be happy and have no misgivings for the long hours and hard work I put into writing and illustrating Fritz Fombie Have No Fear.
