UIUC’s campus and student union is picture perfect (big brick buildings, super green grassy quad, frisbee people running everywhere).

I went down to UIUC to speak at the midwest ITASA conference. It’s a little crazy - I remember driving from Wash U to UIUC for an ITASA conference 12 years ago when I was a college freshman! Just thinking that is making the grey hairs pop out. The exec team did a really great job of organizing, so the whole weekend went smoothly and the speakers had a lot of downtime to just relax (I really appreciated that).

After speaking, I sat down on the quad and watched all the college things and people like the creepy older non-college person that I am.
