New Release Alert – Playing Doctor

My word count is done for the week, so I can come out and play for a bit before I dive into the laundry that needs to be done before tomorrow.

But I realized I never mentioned my big news.

I released a Kindle exclusive novella on April 29th.

Playing Doctor is a refresh of a sweet novella previously published as Temporary Roommates. (Don’t look up the title as it’s now attached to an erotic, not written by me. Or do, if you’re interested, I won’t tell.) This is the old cover.

Lynn Cahoon, St Louis setting,

Temporary Roommates

I wrote Playing Doctor after my cancer treatments at a local St. Louis hospital. I kept wondering where all these people who worked at the hospital lived, and what if… Which always brings me my best stories. I have more in store for Annie and Troy but I’m busy writing the new mystery series which I hope you all love. (New Cover.)LynnCahoon_PlayingDoctor_800px

So check out Playing Doctor and remember, Dressed to Kill is releasing in a little over a month. (Squee!)

Here’s a blurb and a link if you’re interested.

When a determined nurse and a hot intern find the perfect apartment, the same perfect apartment, they must find a way to share it for ninety days, without killing each other.

Annie Baxter has her dream job. Now, all she needs is a cheap apartment close to the hospital. Troy Saunders knows his life as an intern is all about the long hours. He doesn’t have time to play doctor to some Nurse Barbie. So when his sister finds a great apartment walking distance to work and next to the best running paths in the city, he’s sold. Two leasing agents, two prospective renters, one apartment. Can they co-exist without fireworks?
