Today I'm sharing an excerpt from my new release, Owning His Bride . In the following snippet, Hunter is trying to calm Becca after her first punishment as his wife.


“Shh,” he murmured into her ear. Though her tears had dried up, he kept uttering soothing words to her. She soaked up every touch and every word, loving the feel of his arms encircling her and the heat of his breath whispering past her ear. “Are you all right, Becca?”

Yes. I’ve never been better. “I-I’m okay.” What was she supposed to say? That this was the first hug she’d had in years and she never wanted it to end?
