This week I actually made four YouTube vlog videos, mostly because my shoulder and back have been acting up which makes it hard to do much else. In this post I am going to share links to my favorite two of the four videos, but if you want to see the other two, feel free to check my account on YouTube (one of the other videos is about conservative opposition to gay marriage and the other is about the South Park cartoon episode about Asperger’s Syndrome).
The first video I’m sharing today is about a study I came across recently about the high rates of suicidal thoughts and suicidal attempts among those with Asperger’s Syndrome. I find this truly heartbreaking and (in some cases) feel that the tragedy might easily be avoided if more services were in place for adults with Asperger’s.
The other video is about a study I heard on the news about dating and marriage statistics. It really surprised me how many times the average person “falls in love” before they take the plunge and get married.
