I have a confession to make...

I'm a Doctor Who geek. Big time! Although I'm not what you'd call a "true Who-vian" (I only started watching with the 2005 reboot, when Christopher Eccleston took over the role), I've embraced my Gallifreyan geekdom with wholehearted glee. For me, the best part of Christmas is sitting down with my dinner to watch the Doctor Who Christmas special. So naturally I was over the moon when I discovered these lovely new goodies!

Photobucket
A TARDIS coffee mug! It's so big and blue and shiny! How could I resist?

Photobucket
Salt and pepper shakers! The perfect size to set on the back of my stove!

Photobucket
And last but not least, a Dalek bottle opener! It screams "Exterminate!" every time you use it.

And there's also...
Photobucket
The Tenth Doctor's coat.

I'm sorely tempted, but I fear Ten's long, lanky frame fits it better than my own pear-shaped figure ever could. And so I drool from afar, imagining a smiling David Tennant modeling it for me - and wearing nothing underneath!

Well, look at that! Now I'm smiling too. ;)

Phoenix Emrys There is so much Whovian awesomeness here I don't know where to start. Previously I was limited to my imagination when you described these treasures, now thanks to you considerately furnishing pictures I can add the visual element to my futile acquisitive yearnings. I may not sleep tonight thinking about all this cool stuff. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

you forgot... rofl...

I have watched Who since i was maybe four. Used to hide behind the sofa - my fave Doctor was John Pertwee, until DT of course... ROFL...

Phoenix Emrys Ooooh, John Pertwee was awesome, but for me Tom Baker edged him out of the favourite slot ever so slightly. The Divine DT is the first Doctor who's come along since who's given Tom Baker a run for his money in my affections. (But my fave companion will always, always, always be Sarah Jane!)

Sarah Jane... yep... aahhh remember Adric (if that is how you spelt it!) flying the ship and killing himself... *sad*

Phoenix Emrys Yeah, I wasn't overly fond of him, but he did go out very heroically. Come to think of it I don't think I liked any of the companions during Peter Davidson's run.

I didn't watch much from PD onwards... got back into it with the new year mcGann episode then of course the reboot... yum...

Phoenix Emrys It sorta all went downhill from there. Colin Baker was well... just shouldn't have happened. Sylvester McCoy had his moments, but his Doctor had a 'I'm not just a Time Lord I'm frigging omniscient and you all are just too stupid to get it, so I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to you' aura of annoying condescension that didn't really work with the whole Doctor concept. At least not for me, anyway.
