Get ready for some fuckin’ crazy sadgirl poetry. My first boyfriend!

Like sunlight shining through water in mid-day
I turn prismatic when I know he loves me that way
His perfect eyes turn to me and there they stay
The expression in those eyes can never fade away.

But I have yet to see them, you see
For he does exist, just not here with me
And by my side, he will someday be
It’s all just a matter of time to me.

But now, no longer, his memory lain to rest
By myself, for I know it must be for the best
We haven’t spoken, I thought it was just a test
To see if my love for him is ever at its best.
