Plains of Abraham

Making the most of the brief spring weather here, before rain next week. I took the afternoon off, yesterday, to go for a walk out on the Plains of Abraham. And why not? It was beautiful, warm, with clear blue skies. I started my walk outside the Grand Théâtre de Québec by the Three Players. A trio of statues sat on the lawn, who were also enjoying the lovely spring weather. I made my way from there toward the Plains stopping to take photos of a couple of churches, before arriving at the Jehanne D’arc Gardens. Sadly, this early, there are still no flowers to speak of. From there, I walked part of the Plains, taking in two of the last standing Martello Towers, and some of the finest views of Québec, the river, and the south shore.
