At Home

I am writing this sitting in my kitchen as the sun streams in. There is blossom on the trees, and the plants in the garden are beginning to grow at an incredible rate. I must admit that I am enjoying these days at home. I am also delighted by the safe and timely arrival of Ariana, the newest member of the Gabbitas family. I suspect that at this moment Chris won’t be sitting in his kitchen staring out of the window.

On Saturday Johnny and I dropped in to listen to a couple of Royal Holloway Choir’s recording sessions in North London. We worked with them on some of the repertoire earlier in the year, and it was great to hear them singing so fantastically. It was also good to see Adrian Peacock, who produces most of our CDs, who was running the sessions for Rupert and the choir.

I would also like to thank everyone for the lovely messages I’ve received on Twitter, Facebook, and via email, after my announcement last week. It has been humbling to read so many generous comments. I want to use this opportunity to LIKE them all, and I hope to see many of you in the next 15 months.
