WE START MAY 1! WON’T YOU JOIN US!

Dear Gorgeous Friend,


Once upon a time I was a younger nutritionist and health writer. Then I grew older. My needs changed. My interests changed. My body—and what it was experiencing—certainly changed. As did my emotional life. My social life. My interests. And even my relationship with my husband.


As I grew, I continued to see my beloved clients of all ages, but I found myself becoming more and more excited to spend time with those clients who were in my age group. Who were going through the same things I was: Hormonal shifts, thyroid and adrenal issues, the scariness of mortality and wondering how to get healthier so we can enjoy our time on the planet, navigating busy lives with busy older children and perhaps aging parents, dealing with once romantic relationships that maybe weren’t so romantic anymore (or craving a romantic relationship after the ending of a previous union), sleep issues, work and money stress, lowered physical fitness, middle-age spread (muffing top and bra bulges anyone?), an increased interest in spirituality and using healthy living as a way to tap into our own precious divinity, regret at things not done, frustration with a body that is no longer 27—as well as a beautiful celebration of all the things that middle-age has brought us, including calm, wisdom, comfort in our skin, a kind of delicious irreverent humor and a deep knowing that we’re here for a reason which is coupled with an equally deep desire to seize the day and make the most of every minute of our time here.


Which means getting and staying healthy. Not in the crazy, time-consuming way that we may have used in our 20s and early 30s (there is no way I am going to spend 2 hours each day in a gym!), but in a wise way that honors our current commitments and desires. A deeply pleasurable way that must work for where we are now.


Which is why I created The Wellness Circle, an online health group for women in their 40s through 90s. This is the group I spent hears dreaming of and this last winter, I launched my first Wellness Circle! Now it’s time to launch my second Wellness Circle!


I am so excited to share The Wellness Circle with you!

Twenty women, ages 45 to 65 joined our first go-round. And every single one of them, I am so proud to say, lost weight, dropped dress sizes and healed health conditions ranging from eczema to chronic joint pain. Every single one of them also created enormous healthy changes in their lives, from dealing with their husbands’ erectile dysfunction issues to working up the courage to change their stressful work lives to making decisions on plastic surgery, divorce, religion and more. All while sharing with and getting support from women just like you. In fact, we had women from the UK to California in the last group, many of whom have grown so close that they have made plans to meet in person this summer!


So let me give you the specifics:


* The Wellness Circle runs from May 1 through August 21, 2015.


* We meet online, using an online classroom where we meet and get weekly assignments and daily support, access the audios and videos and download recipes (each week we have a “cooking clinic”), as well as other fun assignments.


* I am always “in” the classroom, waiting for you! Ask me whatever health question you would like. Anything from questions about your daughters’ protein intake to advice on ways to use nutrition to fade melisma. I not only will answer your questions about the assignments, I am here to teach you how to heal yourself with food and healthful lifestyle choices.


* Each week, we have one optional phone call and another optional Skype call (many of our friends in Europe prefer Skype!) each week where I go deep about the week’s lessons and activities before opening up the lines for your questions (again, ask me anything!). But these calls are optional. They are recorded so you can listen to them on your own time.


* You’ll receive free tickets to my live events (should you desire to connect more in person), as well as free entry into my 7-Day spring detox and my late summer/fall detox (which actually cost more than The Wellness Circle does!).
