THE COMEDIC APPLICANT is my favorite Michael Poage book so far. It resonates with passion for people and the world and with Poage's own special take on life, juxtaposing the heartbreaking with the laugh out loud funny. I've read it three times now, and will go back to it again and again. The comedic glances from hiding places and catches the reader unaware. Don't stop writing, Michael Poage. Your vision is rare and beautiful and oh so needed.
