The Agony of Writing a Sequel

So I see all these writers banging out follow-ups to their novels and yet I'm struggling...why?? I'm not exactly sure but I will be honest and say that it is hard work chronicling the life of your characters beyond the 1st book....especially if you didn't view the initial release as a series.

I am hard at work traversing the battlefield of writing and am often in awe of the other authors out there. To bring life to something that once only existed in you imagination is truly a gift indeed.

I appreciate everyone who has continued to follow and support me in anticipation of the follow-up to Birth of The Mistress. I promise the wait will not be in vain as I am taking my time to fine tune details and streamline the storyline so that the readers will feel like not a moment has passed between the two novels.
