Why do authors write about good vs evil?

From our perspective, we share the experiences of the hero/heroine and it prepares us for negative experiences in our own lives. Sharing in someone's battle against evil, and he/she wins, gives us hope in our day-to-day living that we can do the same. Whether our community suffers from war, poverty, abuse or bullying, or environmental tragedy, it gives us faith to take action. We, as authors, choose the good side. J.R. and I, believe the key to living is: love, hope, faith, truth, compassion and conscious living. If one nutures each of these attributes, that is a successful soulful life...to us.
