Claiming prisoner 343C... a snippet from Owning Becca #SatSpanks #scifi #romance

Welcome to Saturday Spankings! Today I'm sharing a snippet from my upcoming sci fi romance release, Owning Becca (Brides of Kemmius, Book 1).

A little backstory: Kemmius is a prison planet, and the only way a woman can leave the prison is if a departing guard takes responsibility for her and claims her as his wife. The guard will then technically own the woman.

Hunter reveled in the warden’s look of fury when he stood before the council members to accept his payout, enough credits to buy two islands on Merro if he wished. But one would do. He wasn’t greedy, and he anticipated his quiet life on the island with Becca. He stared into the warden’s eyes and smiled, then cleared his throat to get the council’s attention.

“I have decided to take responsibility for one of the inmates. I request prisoner 343C to become my wife.” He couldn’t say her name, because the council might suspect some grand love affair. The women here were nothing but objects to them, and the council members had even recently voted to begin selling the inmates to rich entrepreneurs from Earth who made the journey to Kemmius, as slaves or wives. The whole practice disgusted Hunter, yet here he was asking for ownership of inmate 343C.

“Request granted."
