Brrr....winter!

It's snowy and raw outside...a perfect day for staying in my office to work on a book proposal due today.

Everywhere around me, my office is a mess! And it has to be totally emptied by Monday morning so the trim can be replaced, the walls painted, and carpeting re-done...changes that are looong overdue!

So how about you...are you totally neat and organized in your office space? If so, and you have any tips for me, I'd appreciate it. I think I'm going to need a Dumpster and a backhoe to handle all this clutter!

Rhonda Rae Baker That's really funny...I'm totally neat at my corporate office (Technical Writer/Records Management) but at my home office (Aspiring Non-fiction/ficion Author) there are books, notes, research, etc., such that one would wonder where my priorities lie. But I must say that the 'relaxed' atmosphere in my home office inspires me for creativity and flow.

Working on a book proposal sounds easy enough...(-: Presently, I'm working on a business proposal due tomorrow and another that is due next Friday will be pressing on me.

I would prefer being home, cleaning my home office. Do have a wonderful day and know that you are doing wonderful things!

Stephanie Barko Hi Roxanne-

Thanks for the add. My work area also gets disheveled during the holidays as guests come by and papers are quickly shuttled into any available drawer crevices and file spaces.

Am also more likely to be working on several things at once during the holidays--personal, professional, and extracurricular, like volunteering for the Writers' League, Audubon, and other favored charities.

Enough! Back to work,
Stephanie Barko, Literary Publicist
