I’m sincerely honored to announce that hitRECord has been invited to take part in the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary celebration. Throughout 2015, we’ll be making art inspired by the 400+ parks found all across the US. The art we create will support the #FindYourPark campaign, marking the 2016 centennial of this awesome institution.

BE A PART OF IT

I’ve gotta say, I love the story behind this organization. Since 1916 they’ve been preserving our nation’s most beautiful natural resources & monuments - places Yosemite National Park (where I’ve spent a bunch of time camping w/ my family), Yellowstone, the Everglades, and the Statue of Liberty. These places could’ve become shopping malls without these folks. It’s amazing that 100 years later they’re still doing the great work of protecting these national treasures for us.

To kick things off, anyone and everyone can come share their art and ideas for this campaign. You don’t have to be from the U.S. to contribute, and we’ll be working on a wide range of projects — music, writing, animation, photography and more!  In 2016, fifteen of our more polished collaborations will be distributed through the Find Your Park campaign. Details to come on what these pieces will be as things unfold, but for now - if you’ve got an idea, now’s the time to get involved!

Check out a full list of every national park, monument, and historic site that the National Park Service oversees HERE

I’m really looking forward to seeing what we create together for this one, and am extremely proud that the National Park Foundation has provided hitRECord the opportunity to celebrate this milestone.

Thanks again
