Have you ever had someone come up to you and try to commission a poem or a one minute story or something like that? Im just curious if writers also encounter that sort of thing.

Oh, absolutely. People ask me to write something in their sketch book, or several times I have been asked to write a proposal for a guy to ask a girl to marry him on her favorite comic, or things of that nature. Not commissions, just things in line. And I get asked for sketches a lot but I can’t draw a lick.
