Having been investment banker for close to a decade she recently gave it up to pursue her childhood dream of being a writer. She is a prolific blogger and ardent reviewer since past 3 years under the name Privy Trifles. She has been a contributing author to various anthologies with her short stories and have recently released her debut book called Metro Diaries – Seventeen LOVE classics. Please share some of the best memories of your childhood
My best memory of childhood has to be those lazy summer holidays I spent reading so many books non-stop.
About your education
I hold a masters in strategic finance along with a diploma in customer service.
What career did you plan during your education days
I wanted to be a banker and I was for a decade till few months ago when I quit it all.
What is your biggest source of inspiration in life
LIFE in itself is inspiring.
What hurts you most in this world
lies and deceit.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced? How did you overcome it?
My illness last year was the biggest challenge and I overcame it with a lot of hope, love and smiles.
If you had to live a day of your life as one of the living or dead personality, who would it be and why?
I would want to be Paulo Coelho’s daughter and travel along with him on all his wanderings, read his books before the world reads them and inherit some of his magic.
What is your favorite genre and why?
I love reading all genres, but I really enjoying reading drama based in various countries for I love the slice of life they share with the readers in those words.
When did you start writing? What is the purpose of your writing?
I started writing when I was 11. My main purpose is to gift a smile and some hope to someone through my words.
Which of your work has been published so far? Would you like to share a synopsis of your work?
I have been a part of 8 anthologies till now and Metro Diaries is my solo release. Metro diaries is a short collection of some 20 love stories written during my travel.
Synopsis: Love is one of the most amazing feelings on this earth, one that makes you the most powerful person or the most helpless person in a split second. These stories capture those feelings of despair, longing, love, lust, desire, want, dejection and admiration to create deja vu. Hold onto your hearts as you flip through these pages and take a walk down the memory lane as “Metro Diaries” will revive your innermost feelings and imbibe in you the magic of love. What are your forthcoming writings?
I am working on my solo novel as of now.
What genres you write in and why?
Romance and drama. For I believe this is where the real us exists, rest all is just timepass.
What keeps you motivating towards writing?
The love of creating something from nowhere and having a hope of touching a heart and making a difference.
If Writing a Book is taken as a project, What are the key essentials you take care of in Project Management?
Content and presentation – that is what makes the difference.
How do you plan, schedule and monitor your writing commitments?
I write all that comes to my heart though am a thorough professional and yes very strict about the deadlines, thanks to the corporate world I was in till now.
What are your future plans?
I want to write till I can. When I started I didn’t know I would reach till here but I did so I just hope life leads me to where I am supposed to me while I would just want to keep doing what I am supposed to be doing.
What is generally your preference in reading – a paper book or ebook? And why?
Paperback. I love the feel of paper and smell of it.
What four top most things you take care of while writing a book?
Love, smiles, truth and life – I believe that is what makes a good read one that will touch a heart and make a difference.
How much real life goes into a fiction writing?
Most of it for that is where the stories are born from.
Is a high level of imagination important to have for an Author?
Yes, it is, that is when fiction can be merged with the facts.
Your dream destination on Earth?
Prague.
Your origin of birth and other countries you have visited/ stayed. What best things you liked in these countries around the globe?
India and Australia. I love their love for life much more intense than ours! We are still bound by a lot of other things when it comes to loving life.

Night. The peace is magical

The last book I read was The Gone Girl and currently am reading Ship of Theseus.

The theory of everything for it shows the power of love and creation.
