#051: Why Does Transformation Seem to Take So Long? Part 6 [Podcast]

Today we uncover the last few thoughts on the subject, “why does transformation seem to take so long?” We to encourage you today by helping you to see some key blocks that hinder the next level in our journey. Transformation is a process, but we often get into positions where it becomes longer than it needs to.
In today’s episode, we discuss the following factors that make transformation take longer than it needs to:
We focus more on circumstances changing and not enough on us changing.
When you become focus on the circumstance changing, you can very easily become victim to it.
We have a dysfunctional view of God. We want Him to take us out of prison, rather than learning how to get free from the chains and walk out of prison.
We cant see beyond our situation . . . we need a big picture perspective.
We get ourselves so in front of a tree that we cannot see the big forest that we are in.
We have little appreciation for the journey.
One of the greatest tragedies over people today is that they are not present:
They are lost in their battles
They are lost in the past
They are lost in what they are worrying about for the future.
