Clean feet

underneath a poor design

ripened with age

riddled with holes

some dirt creeps up

on me as I request

change

loose change

spare change

crumpled bills

in your pocket that you

forgot to deposit

with the rest of your

self-imposed riches

You should

always respond to requests for change

how glorious it is

when you perceive that

the only difference between you

and my poor

outer design

is not something more glorious

than what makes us
